Visit Salt Lake was looking for a campaign to cement SLC’s unique status as a place where you can shred powder by day and take in a symphony, ballet, or pro sports game by night—and we delivered in spectacularly successful fashion with a multimedia campaign that highlighted our hometown’s rare mix of mountain adventures and modern city life.

Visit Salt Lake wanted an attention-grabbing way to showcase SLC’s rapidly expanding urban scene, and dispel some of the preconceived notions that spring to mind when the uninitiated visualize taking a trip to Salt Lake City. We delivered in supremely sarcastic fashion with an award-winning campaign so compelling, it was copied—almost to the letter—by another city that shall remain nameless. Aimed mostly at meeting and convention planners with the goal of attracting large-scale events to Salt Lake, the campaign also gained significant traction among the general public.
