Love Communications bolsters its creative services team with two hires: copywriter Mika McIntosh and graphic designer James Carlson.

Mika McIntosh, Copywriter
Mika joined Love Communications this spring and has wasted no time making an impact with strong work on projects for multiple clients.
After graduating from Southern Virginia University for his undergraduate work, and then completing his Master in Creative Writing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Mika says he ‘stumbled’ into marketing. Nearly a decade later, with experience at Entrata and Beehive Cheese Company on his resume, he continues to find copywriting stimulating.
When he’s not making a killer cheese board – thanks to his time at Beehive Cheese Company – he also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons and in his words, “trying to get himself psyched up to do dishes, or staring longingly into the distance.”

James Carlson, Jr. Production Designer
A graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design, James brings a passion for modern design and quality work to Love Communications’ creative team.
As a fresh face in the field, James has prior experience in social media management, social media design, and typesetting. James shows interest in every facet of design and dedicates his time to meeting and exceeding a client’s expectations. He especially enjoys working on projects that challenge his design skills.
In his spare time, James likes to record and produce music, collect vinyl, read, paint, and study design.
