Love Communications Wins R.c. Willey Advertising Account
SALT LAKE CITY – March, 2008 – R.C. Willey – one of the nation’s largest and most successful retailers of home furnishings, electronics, appliances, mattresses and flooring – has contracted Love Communications to develop a new branding campaign for the furniture chain.
The largest furniture dealer west of the Mississippi – and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway (recently named one of America’s Most Admired Companies by Fortune) – the Utah-based R.C. Willey also has stores in Idaho, Nevada and California. R.C. Willey’s existing in-house marketing department will work with Love Communications to develop new advertising, marketing, promotional and creative materials for the R.C. Willey brand across all of its markets, the company announced.

Founded in 1932 by Rufus Call Willey (who opened his first store in 1954), today’s R.C. Willey organization has full-service store locations throughout the Wasatch Front – including Salt Lake City, Murray, Orem, Riverdale, Syracuse and Taylorsville. The company also has stores in Boise, Sacramento and Reno, as well as two in the Las Vegas area.
