Love Communications Continues Growth, Adds Two To Staff

SALT LAKE CITY – (March 31, 2006) — Love Communications, a full-service advertising agency based in Salt Lake City, has hired Kelli Fratto as senior public relations manager and Eric Short as account coordinator, the firm announced this week.

Ms. Fratto is rejoining the growing Love Communications PR Department after a stint as an account executive with The Martz Agency in Phoenix. One of Love Communications’ earliest employees, Ms. Fratto returns as a principal account manager for a number of the agency’s key PR clients, and will also work with the agency’s new business development team. A graduate of the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Ms. Fratto was with Bremer Public Relations before originally joining Love Communications in early 2000.

Mr. Short assumes his new position at Love Communications after working for several months with the agency’s sister firm, Hispanic Marketing and Consulting. He also has experience with Workers Compensation Fund and United Way of Salt Lake. As account coordinator, he’ll take over day-to-day account service and traffic responsibilities for a wide array of Love Communications’ clients. Mr. Short received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with an emphasis in International Studies from the University of Utah in 2005.

Love Communications, founded in August of 1999, offers a full range of client service, media planning, public relations and governmental relations, accounting, creative and production services. The agency, which reported capitalized billings of $28 million in 2005, currently employs 30 full-time staffers. The firm operates under the direction of partners Tom Love, Rich Love, Preston Wood and Alan Reighard.

The agency’s clients include the State of Utah’s Anti-Tobacco account, the Utah Cancer Action Network (UCAN), Spring Communications, Winger’s Restaurants, Cricket Communications, United Way of Salt Lake, Standard Optical, Arctic Circle, Rocky Mountain Raceways, Young Automotive Group, Winder Farms, Real Salt Lake, Walt Disney Studios, Papa Murphy’s, Modern Display and Zions Bank.
