Website Visitors

Like most professional website publishers, the Agency collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The Agency’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how the Agency’s visitors use its website. From time to time, the Agency may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

The Agency also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. The Agency does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

No Use by Children

The Site is not directed to, or intended for use by, children (defined as anyone age twelve (12) or younger). Children should not use the Site or submit any information to the Agency. If you are a child and are reading this statement, you must exit the Site immediately.

Personally Identifiable Information

Certain features available at the Site will require you to submit personally identifiable information about yourself (“Personal Information”) as a condition of participation. In addition, the Agency may ask you to provide Personal Information for purposes unrelated to the use of a feature at the Site. IN ALL CASES, YOU CAN ALWAYS REFUSE TO PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION, BUT THIS MAY RESULT IN DECREASED FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SITE FOR YOU AND LIMIT YOUR ABILITY TO RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT PRODUCTS OR SERVICES THAT MAY BE OF PARTICULAR INTEREST. In general, the use of Personal Information you choose to submit to the Agency or a third party in connection with your use of the Site will be controlled by the privacy practices of the third party and not this Policy.

In general, a cookie is a small amount of data sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. With most browsers or other software, you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. You can refer to the instructions for your browser to learn more about these functions. If you choose to reject cookies, the Site likely will not operate as efficiently for you.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

The Agency discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on the Agency behalf or to provide services available at the Agency’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. The Agency will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, the Agency discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when the Agency believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of the Agency, third parties, or the public at large.

If you have, at any time, supplied the Agency with your email address, the Agency may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with the Agency and our partners. The Agency takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
