The Salt Lake Tribune names Love Communications as a Wasatch Front 2015 Top Workplace

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 15, 2015 – Salt Lake City-based Love Communications has been awarded a 2015 Top Workplaces honor by The Salt Lake Tribune. The award was based on several aspects of workplace culture including alignment, execution and connection, to name a few. Love Communications is a 16-year-old full service advertising, PR and marketing firm that employs 40 marketing professionals.

The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Tom Love, president of Love Communications said, “The partners of our firm are humbled and honored that our employees have given Love high marks as a Top Workplace. We’ve worked hard to create a dynamic and upbeat culture, where our ‘Lovers,’ as we call ourselves, feel empowered and supported. We allow for plenty of staff socializing with planned and impromptu company parties, we encourage personal volunteerism and group community service projects, and we have created a casual, but professional atmosphere that is a perfect backdrop for creativity and collaboration. These strategies have worked well to gain and retain a group of talented employees that our clients love and appreciate.”

According to Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics, the Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest or all about fancy perks and benefits. To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet strict standards for organizational health. “And, who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day–the employees,” said Claffey. “Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
