SALT LAKE CITY – Feb. 24, 2010 – Love Communications, a Salt Lake City-based full-service advertising agency, has been tabbed to handle marketing and communications services for Sim Gill, running for Salt Lake Country District Attorney in 2010.

Democrat Gill, currently Chief City Prosecutor for Salt Lake City, is running against Republican incumbent Lohra Miller. Love Communications has agreed to handle a variety of marketing and promotional services – including creative, PR and Web design – for the Gill campaign over the course of the election.

“We’re committed to Sim because we believe in him as a candidate,” said Tom Love, Love Communications president. “He’s the right choice for the DA’s office. We’re proud of our association with him.”

Love Communications’ work on Gill’s behalf has already consisted of helping him stage his campaign announcement press event in January and the design and launch of his official Web site, votesim.com. The agency also designed Gill’s distinctive logo and lawn signs. As the campaign unfolds, Love Communications’ efforts for the Gill Campaign will include TV, radio and newspaper advertising and social media and marketing.

“We like the energy an election campaign brings to our agency,” Love said.

Love Communications offers a full range of client service, media planning, public relations and governmental relations, accounting, interactive, creative and production services. The agency, which reported capitalized billings of $30 million in 2009, currently employs 34 full-time staffers. The firm operates under the direction of partners Tom Love, Rich Love, Preston Wood and Alan Reighard.
